I have an unusually large amount of cash on hand right now, since we've been selling all of our electronics before the move. Plus we've come across currency from several other countries during the sort. This afternoon, I spent over $40 in coins to help downsize!In Australia, the coin denominations include:
$2 - small "gold" (they're actually aluminum bronze)
$1 - large "gold"
50c, 20c, 10c, & 5c in decreasing "silver" size (made of cupro-nickel)
This was really interesting, not to mention pretty, to see! Australia's money is so vibrant in comparison to US dollars.
